Psychologist and training psychotherapist Aino Juusola has been appointed Lead Psychotherapist at Mindy Oy. She will be responsible for the quality of Mindy’s psychotherapy work, the professional development of its therapists, and the culture of Mindy’s community of professionals.
Juusola specialises in trauma and crisis therapy. She has more than ten years of experience in psychotherapy and has previously served as lead psychotherapist at Heltti and Terveystalo. She is the author of two non-fiction books: Jutellaanko? Miten käsitellä lapsen kanssa vaikeita asioita (Shall We Talk? How to Discuss Difficult Things with Children, 2021) and Taakka vai turva? Mitä kannan mukanani menneiltä sukupolvilta (Burden or Refuge? What I Carry with Me from Past Generations).
“Good therapy grows out of collaboration between therapist and client. The key to that collaboration is a professional who takes pride in their work, meets each client with warmth, and is genuinely curious to hear every unique story. I want to make Mindy a place where quality, respectful and human encounters with clients, and therapists’ wellbeing all go hand in hand. That’s when clients get the best possible help,” Juusola says.
Mindy’s CEO Tanja Lappi sees the appointment as an important step in the growth of the newly independent Mindy.
“Aino has a rare combination of deep clinical expertise and the ability to engage with people in a constructive, forward-looking way. As our network grows, we need someone who makes sure every client at Mindy meets a caring, skilled and kind-hearted professional. Aino is exactly that person.”
Mindy Oy is a Finnish workplace wellbeing and therapy services company that became independent from Heltti in September 2026.
